Maxine Moana-Tuwhangai

Maxine brings a wealth of governance experience to her role at Raukura. A Chartered Accountant, Maxine has sat on the boards of various entities including Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (The Correspondence School), Wintec Council, Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award Trust, Waikato Tainui Iwi Authority, and the Maritime Authority. 

Maxine chairs the Central Waikato Catchment Liaison Committee and was a long-standing committee member of the Waikato region's Future Proof Implementation Committee. 

Maxine is also a Justice of the Peace and is a Member of the NZ Order of Merit for services to governance and Maaori.
