Te Rangihaeata

Te Rangihaeata is our Iwi Support Services who provide dedicated team of Iwi support workers supporting whanau who are suffering from mild to moderate mental illness. Together we work in partnership to achieve:

individual goals
provide support
information
linkage into support groups to assist with placement into courses

We are happy to meet you in your home or wherever you feel most comfortable.

Te Rangihaeata operates in the wider Auckland South Area, inclusive of Pakuranga to Port Waikato.

Referral Criteria

Eligibility to accessing this service is as follows:

Any ethnic background
Aged 17 years and over
Diagnosed with an axis 1 or 2 mental health illness
Currently receiving clinical treatment from another mental health service

Referral to this service may be via the following means:

Any Community Mental Health Clinic within South Auckland

If you are unsure that you or someone you know is suffering from mental illness does not meet the criteria please contact us to discuss your situation. All information provided is treated with the strictest of confidence.
